We will stop to admire the church's magnificent exterior, which is a French national historical monument and is considered one of the finest examples of its kind outside of Russia.

This man-made waterfall dates from the late 19th century, marking the completion of the Canal de la Vésubie, which is an important element of Nice's water supply. From here you have a breathtaking view over Nice and the Mediterranean.

We will visit the Roman amphitheatre and overlook the Roman thermal baths. The name of the Nice district of Cimiez is derived from Cemenelum, the name the Romans gave to their settlement on this site. Today the park is shaded by a grove of olive trees.
